Avery is ONE! Her birthday was Tuesday. We celebrated by taking the day off to spend some alone time with her while Carson went to daycare. It was Tumblebus day for him, so he was happy to go. Plus, we had Avery's pictures scheduled and he wasn't too excited about that. ;)
Day started off with breakfast at home (her favorite - pancake) and then a good nap. Then we got ready for her photo shoot. It went so well! I cannot WAIT to see how they turn out! She did so great with her smash cake. She ended up with icing in all over her hands and legs. Even between her toes!
She crashed immediately after her photo shoot! We barely made it two blocks away. She ended up taking a really decent nap (especially for her!). We picked Carson up early once she woke up and we headed to an early dinner. She ate like a champ (mac and cheese and lots of pieces of rolls!). The waitress brought both kids a little hot fudge brownie sundae. They both loved them! Avery had real milk for the first time too. She did throw up (a little) once we got home, but.......I still think she enjoyed the day! :)

Carson couldn't wait for her to open one of his presents for her! A puzzle of her own. :) We got her a chair just like big brothers.
