Sneak peek!

I hate posting out of order, but my last few posts have already been all over the place, so I guess what's one more?!  The kids had a photo shoot (w/ Cori Rebmann - CR Photography) on September 29th.  Her 6 mo. shoot and his 3 year!  Crazy how fast they're both growing up!  Anyway, just got the sneak peek back from Cori and I LOVE them.  Can't wait to see the rest.  :)

Pumpkin Festival and Birthday Party

September was a busy month!  After we got back from vacation, it was time for the Pumpkin Festival!  Carson had been looking forward to it since the fair in July.  That following weekend was his buddy Max's birthday party.  It was seriously SO adorable watching him play with his little friends.  There are three of them that hang out at daycare together.  They've been tight since their first room as infants.  So cute.

Pumpkin Festival  -

The evil ride that hurt my baby.  :(  Carson got off and immediately had bruises on his back.  The ride was really jerky and I guess it was ramming right into his little back.  I felt SO bad.  The ride looked sketchy to begin with and I just should've insisted they skip it.  The next ride we went on, he looked up at me and said, "Mommy, is this one going to hurt me too?"  So sad.  Despite that ride, he had tons of fun w/ Tyler!

The "bad" ride  :(

The babies! Alaina

Too much fun at the Pumpkin Festival

Carson had a huge knot and multiple bruises on his back for days  :(

Max's party -

Maxi turned 3 and we got invited to celebrate!  It was so much fun!  I love being able to take Carson places alone too.

Bags!

They took off before we got the cutest shot ever of the 3 of them!

Love this!
Best buds!
And here are the same three, two and a half years ago.  :)

Vacation

Finally posting about vacation!  We went to Wisconsin Dells the first week in September.  I was so worried about how Avery especially would do.  She hadn't been sleeping well (what's new?).  I was just nervous that they'd both be fussy and we'd all end up fighting the whole time.  I was pleasantly surprised though and we had a wonderful family vacation!

Carson and I went on our first water slides ever!  I think I was more nervous than him for sure.  Haha.  I don't do well w/ heights, or with water, really.  :)  But it was a small(er) slide.  And after that initial drop, tons of fun.  The resort we went to (Great Wolf Lodge) had tons of water areas for small kids.  I'm glad that we chose it for our first time to the Dells.  Good timing too.   The outdoor area had just closed for the season, but it was not nearly as busy as it would have been in season.  Perfect for us!  Carson loved it, especially wearing the life jacket!  :)

We were there for just three nights but gave us plenty of time to swim and take a Duck tour.  It's definitely difficult traveling with a baby and a potty-training toddler, but we had a really great time.

On our way!  Miracle I got him to look away from his movies!  :)

I think I already posted this, but I love it!  :)

Wolf ears!

Water slide and lazy river
We got the Wolf Den suite for Carson!  Loved it!  Had bunk beds and TV.

Clock Tower - they did a story every night.  Pretty cool!

I've already forgotten this guy's name, but I was happy Carson wasn't too shy to meet him!

We went to a restaurant where the food and drinks get delivered on a train!  Carson thought it was pretty cool.  :)

Swimming!

Our Duck tour!  Ended up being WAY colder than we had planned on.

7 months!

I can't keep up with this blog!  Some day I might be able to have a post written at all close to the event that I'm writing about......

Anyway, Avery was 7 months on the 5th!  :)
